Moving in to a new office can be a daunting experience... unless you have the tools and experience to back you up. With over 30 new sites conquered, VEN Systems know excatly what and how to prepare. When Jason requested the work, we ensured that we made all the preliminary checks with their present ISP, telecoms and network infrastructure.
On the day, VEN Systems implemented the new mailserver, installed the new workstations and network cabling and followed up with checks and calls from our engineers to ensure that the weekend's changeover occurred smoothly.
Here are some of the highlights:
- Exchange 2007 - Enabling the users to access their mailboxes, company directories and company mail stores (public folders) via Windows Mobile, Outlook or Web browser.
- Server Scripts- Login scripts ensure users can log in to the head office and be assigned resources such as printer and file shares - onsite or remotely.
- Remote Access- Unlike many companies, VEN Systems ensures that important security policies and login scripts run across slow connections such as VPN. This also ensures that users are provided with all the tools and data that they need.
- Data Cabling - Providing connectivity between two offices so that the new site can integrate smoothly with the existing infrastructure over multiple gigabit uplinks. Thus, server traffic and large CAD printing will not congest the network.
