VEN Systems have completed internal research and development on Microsoft Sharepoint 2007 and have begun rolling out the product to clients. Sharepoint 2007 allows internet access and integration for users of a wide range of products, applications and platforms. Of particular interest to AEC users might be Sharepoint 2007 integration with CAD and AutoCAD in particular, as well as document storage, team collaboration and workflow all being available via remote access.
