VEN Systems have begun rolling out Microsoft Sharepoint 2007 integration for AutoCAD. This allows users to save documents created in Autodesk’s AutoCAD to Sharepoint 2007 where the same documents may be accessed by other users via a web connection. As Development Manager Rory Palmer explains, “Sharepoint 2007 allows users to search for documents, prior to checking them out for their exclusive use via a secure web connection from anywhere in the world, providing secure, intuitive document management for businesses at a very reasonable price.”
