SDSL Connectivity

The difference between SDSL (Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line) and broadband is that SDSL has an upload speed that is equivalent to its download speed, meaning that an SDSL line can handle far more outbound ions especially when it comes to email or file upload. ADSL normally offers approximately 10% of the download speed in upload.

SDSL is a good choice for small offices connecting to head offices for email, terminal server and site to site connections that don't have the need for the higher performance of a leased line. Unlike an ADSL connection, SDSL doesn't have to co-exist with a voice channel on the same physical line, this reduces problems and creates and a dependable connection that comes with a stronger Service Level Agreement.
